There are few truths in the world today. It is hard to find the meaning behind our everyday life. Movements between universes give new meaning to the way of heart pulses and brainwaves. New information is released to the public everyday. We are informed who to trust and who not to trust. For this reason, me and a few of my fellow collegues have decided to create a group that dedicates itself in finding the most enlightened path. For it is true:

The function of wisdom is to discriminate between good and evil.

Which is why we have created S.O.F.T.P.O.R.N. or Social Outsiders For The Prevention Of Realative Normality

We do not associate with any group. We are simply observers of the world of the nonchalant and the beyond. All members of SOFTPORN are new initiates of the ideals of Nonchalance. Our function is to create nondiscriminiatory ideals that help the common good.

In the end the truth will shine through and the truth will prove to be rational.

What is needed of YOU

Good day,

Some are asking, “now what”? Well, that is for you to decide. However, I think a slight guiding hand may be in order.

The organization known as Elsewhere Public Works needs our help. And when I mean our help, I mean YOUR help. Yes, False Nonchalance is knocking on the door to enlightenment my friends, and it must be stopped. These are the steps that need to be taken:

Take a stroll to Dolores Park, and using the Ultrakurzwellen radio receiver (which you can rent at 3614 18th st @ Guerrero) listen to the enlghtened words of the admerable Commder 14. Be sure you are listening in a secluded place so his message of truth is not overheard by certain jack-a-napes
After listening, be sure to acquire the official transcript of the radio broadcast. This can be found at various shops throughout the city. Go to www.elsewherepublicworks.com and enter &_radio for more information.
After acquiring the map, be sure to retrieve the rest of the items needed to continue. This includes, but is not limited to: The coins of hobos (hobo coinage), the tooth of a nonchalant, and a very special letter to a very special woman.

Once you have completed these tasks, maybe your time has come. And further enlightenment will follow.

The History of Nonchalance

How can one describe nonchalance? The best way I heard it explained refers to the “sleepwalking of cartoon characters.” I’m sure you’ve seen it before, a character wakes up in the middle of the night and goes on a zombie-like walk throughout the city. Narrowly missing traffic and extreme danger all by sheer coincidence. Before safely being returned home by a lowering steel beam.

This my friends is a perfect example of “divine nonchalance.” The act of knowing where to go in life without actually having to think much about it. A group known as the “Savants” (a crew of friends who were close with Eva www.myspace.com/sfsavants ) have a great saying:

We’re totally lost, but making great time!”

The idea of not knowing where you are going next makes you appreciate the world that much more. It gives you time to sit and smell the roses a little while longer.

Many wonder though, how can I incorporate Nonchalance into my everyday life? That is a good question, and there is an equally acceptable answer: do it nonchalantly. I know this seems like a strange answer, but follow me here. The idea of nonchalance is to see what you usually miss. The smaller things in this world are sometimes the most extravagent. Quite simply, look around. That’s it… look around you more. If you take time to focus on the small eccentrics in life… that is fine… and that is nonchalant. So next time you are walking to work… take a moment and read those fliers placed on the wall, admire the chalk artwork that borders the sidewalk. Research and find new areas of your city you didnt know existed. Do not worry, it is not strange… it is not threatening… it is simply nonchalant.

The Truth is on the Move

Good day,

The beginnings of any journey are rocky at best. That first step or as some say “that first breath” is always challenging. When the road before you is simply a yellow line falling into an existential void, that first breath can be the hardest.

However, through divine nonchalance those fears can be put to rest.

Right now a war is being waged between two rival factions in the city of San Francisco. Chances are you may not know this war is even happening. Only a select few have had the privalage to fight the good fight.

Now that information is available, I will be updating this blog whenever I see fit.

Keep an eye open, information will follow.
